Random
Josh got Naomi dressed and chose from the pile mountain of laundry on the couch. He grabbed a pair of size 1 shorts not realizing they are Nathan's shorts not Naomi's. =)
This is the reason Naomi is wearing socks in the previous photo. Her eczema got really bad this week. She just keeps scratching and scratching. She's just miserable. I bought some lansinoh and vaseline and am combining them to make a really greasy slime and putting that on her. We just started it yesterday but she looks a little better today, I think. Of course we also got more of the fish oil vitamins she'd been taking and started those again yesterday.
Apparently Beka was very proud of her schoolwork the other day. =D
Someone took this photo while I did Naomi's hair on Sunday. I look really pregnant in this photo but don't think I look like this normally?? Naomi looks sad but as soon as I started doing her hair she just laid her head down on my lap. I think she was just tired.
We tried a new hairstyle out on Catie on Sunday. I need to figure out how to get my parts more even so the buns are even but I thought it looked quite cute.

new jammies from Grammy
Naomi (you can see half of her there) got a nightie too but it's a little big so I need to take a tuck in it. And Nathan got some super cute train jammies that he was wearing but he did not want to be in the picture. =) He loved the pjs though. =)

beds, carpets and shelves, oh my!
After putting the bunk beds into the girls' room we had to figure something out with the cot and with clothes storage. Catie previously had plastic containers that fit under the other bed. After the new bed went in those bins were all stacked under her bed. But that left the cot in the middle of the room and a lot of messing around with containers. After I organized carpet cleaning for yesterday we spent the weekend pulling out beds and making sure everything was picked up. So, even though Josh wasn't feeling well we headed to the furniture stores to check out dressers for Catie's clothes. We eventually ended up at Bunnings where we spent a small portion of the cost of a dresser for wood to make shelves. Josh built shelves into the closet and the clothes problem was solved. Now with the cot pushed up against the bunk bed the girls have a private little "cubby house" that they love. =)
