cradle

Josh put the cradle together today.  Within seconds of putting it in our room Nathan filled it up up with his pillow pet and all the blankets he could find.  All of it "for the baby".  Hmmm....gonna have to keep an eye on this kid.  =)

an artist??

 Naomi LOVES to draw!

 She'll spend hours drawing away and screams if she has a pen, pencil, crayon,etc and someone takes it away.  Too bad she doesn't just draw on her own paper, she actually prefers her sisters' school work, furniture or walls.  

and herself.  That's probably her favourite thing to draw on.  =)

little things

 one of the ladies at church gave me this cute nappy bag for the baby!  I think I could actually fit the baby inside.  =)

 I made a little nappy and wipes case for the baby.  I've been making zipper pouches recently because they're fun and easy.  I made this one with a boxy bottom to fit the wipes and nappies more easily.

I also made one of my old style ones for a friend at church having a second little girl.  Look at those teeny little baby nappies. awwwww...

the "mechanical" gardens

Grandma took the kids to the botanical gardens last Thursday after the HBCA science fair.  The girls took their camera along and got some nice little photos.  It's always fun to see things the way they do.

HBCA science fair

we went to the HBCA science fair last week.  The girls got a few photos before they forgot about the camera.  =)  We all enjoyed the trick with the imploding 44 gallon drum.  It was so loud!!

Pulled out the newborn clothes the other day and washed them.  It was a good thing I did because I realized Nate's the only baby I've had in winter before.  So this little girl only had short sleeved or sleeveless dresses, only one pair of pants, etc.  But nothing a couple long sleeved shirts, a sweater and some footie leggings couldn't take care of. 

Naomi LOVED getting all the baby stuff out.  She pulled all those dresses over her head.  And got really cranky if her sisters tried to take them off.  She's wearing her serious look that means that she's having fun.  =D
